Floral tributes have traditionally been seen as a way of expressing love and respect for the deceased. Here in Plymouth we have many talented florists who are able to afford you the freedom of expression when choosing a floral tribute. You can make a personal, bespoke tribute, even incorporating your own memorial items into an arrangement. Alternatively you can also choose from our own Flower Library in exchange for making a donation to St Lukes Hospice.
You can of course allow us to make the arrangements on your behalf, please talk to us for more details.
Your florist can help and support you in deciding what floral tribute you would like to have such as wreaths, reefs, sprays, sheaves, posies, baskets, hearts and cushions and other special tributes.
Traditional flowers for a funeral are, amongst others:
- Orchid plant
- Hydrangea plant
- Daffodils and tulips
Flower arrangements are delivered fresh a few hours before the funeral and we liaise with your chosen florist prior to this.
If the funeral is to be a cremation, you might also like to think about what you would like to do with the flowers after. We are more than happy to talk to you about the various options available.
