We have a collection of beautiful floral tributes that families are welcome to choose from, offering a meaningful alternative to purchasing new funeral flowers. Rather than charging for the flowers, we simply ask for a donation, which we then give to St Luke's Hospice Plymouth. In this way the flower library not only helps families keep funeral costs more manageable but also allows something positive to be passed on by supporting the wonderful work St Luke's provides within our community.
Floral tributes have traditionally been seen as a way of expressing love and respect for the deceased. Here in Plymouth we have many talented florists who are able to afford you the freedom of expression when choosing a floral tribute. You can make a personal bespoke tribute, even incorporating your own memorial items into an arrangement.
Bespoke floral arrangements
Your florist can help and support you in deciding what floral tribute you would like to have, such as wreaths, reefs, sprays, sheaves, posies, baskets, hearts and cushions and other special tributes. Traditional flowers for a funeral are, amongst others:

Once you've designed a tribute that aligns with your vision, with help from one of Plymouth's talented florists, the arrangement/s will be delivered fresh to the required venue a few hours before the funeral. To save you the hassle, we'll liaise with your chosen florist prior to this.
